A key part of Outfit's place within the Brand Automation space is our ability to take the data your organisation collects and use it to efficiently create smarter, more targeted marketing collateral.

We live in an age where every customer expects a unique and personalised experience when engaging with a brand. In fact, data-driven organisations are 23 times more likely to acquire customers than those who are not using their data to drive marketing strategy.

Given the volume of customer information available to businesses and the opportunities to use this data to communicate with customers from a more informed position, there is no excuse for a mass marketing approach any more.

So how can you use data through Outfit to create material that connects with your customers?

Let's talk data

Thanks to Outfit's open API, Outfit can handle all different types of data in different ways. This is great because data means different things to different people.

Typically our clients are using customer or product data to update large quantities of material or they are creating generic material in Outfit and using this creative to send a personalised message to a large quantity of people through a third party comms platform.

What can Outfit do with my data?

Let's take a look at a simple example. Let's say you've got a large event coming up that requires name tags, registration sheets, certificates of attendance and personalised cards to go into every attendee's goodie bag.

What you've got is an event theme and a spreadsheet with 1000 rows of attendee information.

In the past, a project like this would have required significant time and resources from the events, data and design teams.  With Outfit, we can take your base design and roll out multiple copies across different formats with personalisation, themes and custom elements mapped from your dataset to create a full, dynamic event suite.

Where can Outfit send my documents?

On the flip side of this, let's take a look at how we can get our customised templates out of Outfit and into a third-party software platform.

Maybe we create a branded email template and allow stakeholders to personalise it in Outfit. Once the artwork is completed, we want to be able to send it seamlessly to our preferred email software to distribute to one of our customer databases and gather analytics data on the effectiveness of our communication.

With Outfit's open API, export your artwork directly into a folder structure of your choice before sending to a relevant customer list.

Create smarter, data driven collateral

With Outfit, you can put that hard earned data to good use while creating more meaningful engagement with your customers.

The best part is that all of this can be achieved with little more than the on-brand designs you already possess and Outfit's open API.
